About Ghost Walk Story
The Ghost Walk story project is in creation for BOOK, MOVIE, WEB STORY and LIVE EVENTS in the wee hamlet of Ohio.
“Ghost Walk” is the story of 3 independent and powerful women set during the 1890s of “New Connecticut”, les nouveau riche of Victorian Ohio and the Erie Islands. Dorian Lane, Leila Trent, and Sara ‘The Hunter’ are trapped in mystery and horror beyond their experience or understanding. When “the little girl” arrives, the life of the Lanes and all who know them will change forever.
Terror comes uninvited to the glamourous world of the Lanes the night Mistress Dorian stumbles into unfathomable horror through the temptations of her childhood, best friend Leila Trent. It is the night of the annual Harvest Ball…
The Man behind Ghost Walk
Rocky Karlage is the creator, writer and ‘still’ starving artist of Ghost Walk Productions of Ohio. Born in Cincinnati Ohio, he grew up in a small, country town ‘east of there’ named Amelia where he was raised by poor and loving parents. In the days of farms, cow patties, bears and snakes, oh my!, gravel roads, and visible stars, this rarified and exciting world first opened his intrigue of ghostly and supernatural tales in books found in the local library. Perhaps it was a learned predisposition to accept what he saw as real, and not discount as imagination the facts in hand, that lead him to decide “no one else sees it” wasn’t a real reason to not believe. Very empathic and spiritual, he regards friendship and trust as the principle structure for loving relationships. A Christian researcher and Bible teacher for many years, he has migrated his spiritual belief to the Native American “red road”.In the supernatural realm, Rocky’s real-life experiences with the full body apparition “the little girl”, training with a psychic, ghost sightings both kind and not so kind, demonic exorcism, UFO sightings, a nearly losing battle with psychic vampires who wished for him to ‘join’, and interview with real vampire Arabella has gained him both accolade and ridicule with friend, family and others. Early in his ‘career’ he learned people either want to believe or refuse to open their eyes, no matter the amount of evidence, sincerity or cynical wit. “If what I saw was hallucination, then I’m hallucinating you right now.” Proving what he knows to be true has never been a real interest, but he loves and appreciates those who make it their profession.
In Rocky’s other life, he is a sometime professional photographer for Sin City Dreams. It was his initial concept to create a horror and ghost story through photography, in which he was joined early in his efforts by model and soon-to-be great friend Victoria. The project named “Ghost Walk” continues to grow in Ohio as well as an interest in “who are these people and what the heck are they doing?” Friends and fans alike have asked for the photography-planned story to be moved into the arenas of book and movie. It is there he continues his work with a staff of creative and caring professionals who continue to grow in number and volunteer their time and effort. There are not enough words to express his gratitude.
Rocky’s writing draws on his real life supernatural experiences and historical events of late nineteenth century Ohio and America. “Ghost Walk: The Harvest Ball” is the introductory book which introduces the 3 major women of the Ghost Walk ‘mythos’. It is to scheduled to publish before Spring’s end 2009.
About Victoria Bonk (aka Dorian Lane)
Victoria Bonk
was born and raised in the Northeast area of Ohio. By her early teens she had moved to the greater Dallas/Ft Worth region for artistic opportunities. Moving back to Ohio a few years later proved to be a decisive decision in partnering with the team organizer (and founder) of Ghost Walk himself…Rocky. Having found herself to have the natural talents and like interests in what Rocky and Ghost Walk offers, she became involved with the story projects, becoming one of the forefront actors/models known as “Dorian Lane” for the internet and Myspace profile: www.myspace.com/ghostwalklive
In her spare time she enjoys freelance modeling (on which occasion she accepts worthwhile assignments), live bands (local acts either rock or metal), and especially 80’s genre rock and metal known as “Hair Metal”. She also spends time involved with up-and-coming known bands and projects: helping them with band promotions and scheduling shows and area events. In her career she is a paralegal and legal adviser for both Ghost Walk Productions LLC and her own “promotions music management company” for her bands/projects known of as “Rawk On Promotions”.
Bringing with her a natural talent, and a natural ability for marketing and promotions, Victoria has risen through the ranks of the Ghost Walk family to be elected Vice President of the LLC while still handling the duties of being actor and head of public relations. With these accomplishments…you can be sure Ghost Walk still has much more to offer in the very near future… but we’re not telling what just yet!
